Blackstone Private Wealth:

Blackstone Private Wealth was established to answer the growing demand for Blackstone products from high-net worth investors. Partnering with many of the world’s largest private banks and wealth management firms as well as family offices, Blackstone’s Private Wealth team packages and delivers the full breadth of Blackstone’s alternative product capability to these firms and their clients and provides ongoing product and advisor support, as well as education and training around alternatives.

Global Product Strategy Group:

The Global Product Strategy Group in Private Wealth plays an integral role in delivering product solutions to client stakeholders.  They cover the entire fund lifecycle, from product development to supporting fundraising efforts through investment and ultimately return-of-capital. 

Product Strategy oversees product development in Private Wealth – including identifying large product opportunities, executing product launches, and identifying structural solutions that are relevant to client segments/geographies. 

Product Strategy has key internal and external stakeholders, including BX investment teams, PW sales professionals, distributor due diligence teams, financial advisors, and end-clients.

Job Description:

Primary job responsibilities will include:

  • Support the development of domestic and international structures/solutions mindful of appropriate regulatory frameworks and constraints
  • Research regulatory developments and competitive landscapes across alternative asset classes, strategy types and product structures to help identify scale opportunities;
  • Work collaboratively with the global GPS team, Blackstone’s investment businesses and PW business functions to support the creation of new products designed to fit clients’ portfolio needs;
  • Work across PW business functions in supporting product initiatives such as Marketing, Sales, Legal and Investor Services;

Qualifications:

In addition to 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, asset management, consulting or wealth management, the successful candidate should have:

  • Strong analytical, financial and problem solving skills;
  • Desire to work in a team environment across multiple geographies;
  • Demonstrated ability to write effectively and strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Creative, articulate and ability to effectively understand and convey complex concepts
  • Superior organizational skills;
  • Familiarity with financial markets, investment strategies and the relevant regulatory frameworks;
  • Foreign language skills (e.g., French) a plus, but not required
