The Role:
Within our Private Wealth International Client Solutions team, we are seeking a strong, dynamic, commercial professional who is both operational and client centric. This individual will be an essential part of the Private Wealth team responsible for partnering with the regional accounts/distribution teams to expand our business by developing and launching offshore products, managing current offerings, and onboarding the funds with distributors and platforms across our Canadian and LatAm businesses, and our Cayman offerings for the international market. Responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
Product Development: In partnership with the regional accounts/distribution teams, conduct thorough market research, collaborate with external stakeholders and internal teams to develop and refine product concepts, ensuring alignment with client needs and regulatory requirements.
Project Management: Manage the end-to-end product development process for the international funds, feeders, hedged currencies, and other product enhancements, effectively collaborating with external stakeholders, internal cross-functional teams, and senior management.
Fund Onboarding: Execute onboardings of open–ended and closed-ended fund offerings with new distributors and platforms. Leading internal project management for each launch, including negotiating agreements in partnership with our legal team and aligning on product materials that meet distributor needs in collaboration with marketing.
Ongoing Fund Management: Oversee the management of existing and future Blue Owl international funds and feeders, managing the relationships with 3rd party GPs, platforms, other service providers, and home office teams at distributor firms. Manage non-standard operational inquiries and issues, resolve problems, and identify areas of improvements.
Contribute to strategic projects across the international private wealth market.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, applicants should have the following qualifications:
Experience:
7-10+ years of experience in financial services or asset management
Familiarity with international private wealth market
Familiarity with iCapital and similar platforms preferred
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of investment products and financial markets
Attributes:
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $150,000 to $200,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
