We are currently seeking a Global Privacy Analyst to join our team and support the delivery of essential privacy services firmwide. This role combines both operational and advisory responsibilities, offering an exciting opportunity to work across a range of data protection tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs): Review project details, draft PIAs, document data flows, and identify potential privacy risks with actionable recommendations.

  • Data Subject Rights Requests: Coordinate data retrieval/deletion, review and redact personal data, and ensure responses meet legal requirements and deadlines.

  • Records Management: Maintain and update statutory data protection registers and associated documentation.

  • Data Breach Support: Assist in investigations by gathering evidence and preparing detailed reports.

  • Advisory Support: Conduct legal research and prepare clear, practical communications to stakeholders on privacy compliance issues.

About You

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Solid understanding of the GDPR and core data protection principles

  • Experience with Data Subject Rights Requests and drafting Privacy Impact Assessments

  • Good data mapping and analytical skills

  • Ability to apply critical thinking within legal and regulatory frameworks

  • Familiarity with legal technology and information security practices

  • Proven ability to manage large, varied workloads and work independently

  • Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Degree in Law, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience in the legal sector

Desirable:

  • Experience applying data privacy rules in a global corporate environment

  • Knowledge of non-UK/EU data protection laws

  • Commercial awareness in delivering practical, privacy-focused solutions
