Large Format Print Finisher 
Full-time | Permanent

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Large Format Print Finisher to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for finishing, preparing, and quality-checking a wide range of large format printed materials, ensuring every job is completed accurately, efficiently, and to a high professional standard.

You will work closely with the print and production teams to ensure finished products meet customer specifications and are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finish large format printed materials including banners, fabrics, posters, signage, exhibition graphics, vinyl, wallpaper, window graphics, and display materials.
  • Operate finishing equipment such as cutting equipment (Zund), guillotines, laminators, cutting tables, and vinyl application tools.
  • Trim, cut, crease, stretch fabrics, fold, mount, laminate, eyelet, and assemble printed products as required.
  • Apply vinyl graphics and printed media to a variety of substrates and surfaces.
  • Carry out accurate measurements and ensure all finishing work meets job specifications.
  • Inspect finished products for colour, print quality, trimming, alignment, defects, and overall presentation.
  • Identify and report production or quality issues promptly.
  • Package finished work safely and securely for collection, delivery, or installation.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe production environment.
  • Complete work within agreed deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Follow company health and safety procedures and operating instructions.
  • Assist with general production duties when required.
  • Work as part of a team while also being capable of managing individual jobs independently.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a large format print finishing or print production environment.
  • Good understanding of large format print production and finishing processes.
  • Experience using finishing equipment and hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to read and follow job specifications accurately.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines.
  • Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to safely handle large, heavy, or awkward printed materials.

Desirable Experience

Experience with:

  • Vinyl application and vehicle graphics.
  • Banner finishing and eyeleting.
  • Cold and hot lamination.
  • Flatbed cutting
  • Mounting graphics to boards and substrates.
  • Exhibition and display graphics.
  • Wallpaper and wall-covering production.
  • Zund digital cutting equipment.
  • Sign-making and assembly.
  • Installation of large format graphics.
