The Role:

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about technology. You will work within an agile team, focusing on AWS, Linux administration, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code (IaC). You'll be responsible for contributing to the team's overall capability and knowledge, helping to drive solutions, and ensuring best practices are followed across CI/CD, scalability, and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in an agile team to develop and deploy scalable solutions using cutting-edge DevOps technologies.

• Design and implement infrastructure that aligns with logical architecture and business requirements.

• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, promoting continuous integration and delivery across projects.

• Define and work with Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), ensuring scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.

• Contribute to the team’s overall knowledge base by sharing expertise and taking ownership of key initiatives.

Essential Experience:

• AWS: Solid experience managing and deploying applications on AWS.

• Linux Administration: Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Linux environments.

• Kubernetes & Docker: Experience in containerization and container orchestration.

• HashiCorp Stack: Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Packer, Consul, Vault, etc.

• Collaboration Tools: Competence with Git, Jira, Confluence, and related platforms.

• Agile & CI/CD: Experience working within an agile context and building CI/CD pipelines.

• Logical to Physical Infrastructure Translation: Ability to translate logical designs into robust infrastructure.

• NFRs: Hands-on experience with cost management, scalability, and high availability considerations.

Beneficial Experience:

• Dynatrace: Experience with this observability platform.

• Nginx: Familiarity with web server management.

• Kafka: Experience with event-streaming platforms like Kafka.

• IPv4 Networking: Understanding of networking concepts.

• Software Engineering: Proficiency in C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Rust, or Node.js.

• Test Automation: Experience with automated testing frameworks.

• Data Technologies: Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.
