  • Create Vision and Roadmap: Develop a long-term vision and establish a detailed roadmap for your areas of ownership.
  • Build Consensus: Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to gain support and alignment on initiatives and priorities.
  • Leverage Expertise: Use your deep domain and technical expertise to ensure the success of large, cross-organizational programs.
  • Understand Challenges: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of fundamental challenges, shaping product and technical direction
  • Influence Architecture: Influence solution architecture to meet the evolving needs of the business, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals.
  • Cross-Boundary Contributions: Contribute to programs and processes that span organizational boundaries, enhancing collaboration and integration across teams.


By taking on these responsibilities, you will play a key role in transforming how Atlassian onboards and supports its talent, driving innovation and excellence in employee experiences.

  • 8+ years of experience as a Technical Product or Program Manager
  • Strategic thinking and ability to understand business objectives to translate them into technical problems and programs.
  • Technical understanding of systems involved. Willingness to develop domain expertise in the area they operate - storage, networking, authentication, capacity management, service deployments, etc.
    • TPMs are not expected to write or read code, but are expected to understand system flows, block architectures, APIs and such.
  • Experience defining and running end-to-end complex technical programs
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills


Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $200,100 - $266,800
Zone B: $180,100 - $240,100
Zone C: $166,100 - $221,400
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
