Principal Program Manager, Commercial Strategy – Atlanta or UK

Play a pivotal role in shaping how we bring innovative products to market! This is your opportunity to drive consistency, governance, and speed in a global organization transitioning to a disciplined 7-phase ideation-to-execution framework.

“This role is critical to ensuring our product strategy translates into measurable business impact with speed and predictability,” says Janet Mongia, VP of Product Strategy.

This is the role and main tasks

As a Principal Program Manager in Commercial Strategy, you will be at the heart of our new Commercial Product Strategy & Activation function. Your mission is to ensure that new product initiatives move through our 7-phase lifecycle with rigor, visibility, and alignment—enabling us to deliver commercially viable products faster and more effectively.

More specifically, you will:

  • Track all product initiatives end-to-end across the 7-phase lifecycle—from ideation and prioritization through launch, measurement, and post-launch review
  • Develop and own reporting and dashboards for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure transparency into progress, risks, and performance
  • Act as the central coordination lead for internal alignment, ensuring initiatives advance with required inputs, approvals, and engagement
  • Facilitate key ceremonies within the 7-phase model (e.g., business plan reviews, prioritization checkpoints) and contribute to continuous improvement of these rituals
  • Ensure governance and data stewardship, maintaining accuracy and integrity of information that underpins decision-making

This is your Team

You will join the newly established Commercial Product Strategy & Activation function, working closely with Product Management, Sales Operations, Product Marketing, and other key stakeholders. This team is instrumental in operationalizing our product strategy and ensuring disciplined execution across the portfolio.

“We are building a high-impact team that thrives on structure, collaboration, and delivering measurable results,” explains Janet Mongia.

Who we are looking for

We are searching for a strategic, detail-oriented program leader who excels at driving cross-functional alignment and operational rigor. You are passionate about frameworks, governance, and enabling organizations to execute with speed and precision.

Moreover, you:

  • Bring significant experience in program or portfolio management, ideally within product strategy or commercialization
  • Have a proven track record of implementing governance frameworks and driving adoption across complex organizations
  • Possess strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience building dashboards and performance metrics
  • Are an excellent facilitator and communicator, able to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and are comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
