- Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning and AI models and services in Python.
- Design and implement robust, scalable data pipelines for training, inference, and monitoring.
- Define technical standards, best practices, and patterns for machine learning and artificial intelligence development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, infrastructure, data science, and data engineering teams.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code deployment
- Review and guide code contributions from other engineers to maintain quality and consistency.
- Contribute to backend systems development
- Ensure backend and ML systems meet security, compliance, and operational requirements.
- Mentor and guide engineers on ML engineering best practices.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and processes to improve development and runtime efficiency.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 10+ years of industry experience in Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or highly-related field.
- Extensive experience in Python-based ML engineering and backend development.
- Proven leadership in building, testing, and deploying ML models to production at scale.
- Strong knowledge of ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and MLOps tools.
- Ability to deep dive into individual components and systems, as well as understand the overall architecture of machine learning solutions.
- Expertise in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, etc.) and container orchestration.
- Experience with large-scale data processing, streaming, and storage systems.
- Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.
