We're seeking a passionate Marketing Analyst to join our International Marketing Analytics team. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of transforming how we measure, understand, and optimise our marketing investments across both digital performance channels and traditional media including TV and sponsorships.

You'll work at the intersection of data science, marketing strategy, and business impact—helping Ancestry tell more family stories by ensuring every marketing pound/euro drives maximum value. This is an opportunity to shape measurement frameworks that will guide millions in marketing investments across multiple countries and channels.

What you will do:

  • Lead the design and execution of analytical solutions across initiatives such as Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), segmentation and personalisation, and pricing optimisation.

  • Develop and scale time series models to forecast funnel conversion, demand, and performance KPIs.

  • Apply machine learning and advanced statistical methods to uncover insights that drive marketing strategy.

  • Act as a thought partner to senior marketing and commercial stakeholders, translating complex data findings into strategic recommendations.

  • Champion a data-driven culture and support long-term business value creation through development of best-in-class data science capabilities in the areas of predictive modeling, attribution, customer segmentation, forecasting, causal inference etc.

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Marketing Tech, Consumer Insights, Finance and other teams to provide and communicate data-driven recommendations to the business

Who you are :

  • Data science professional (Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or other data-related field. Master’s or Ph.D. is a plus) with 5+ years of industry experience in developing, implementing, and deploying machine learning models and statistical solutions to drive business outcomes.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and completing multiple end-to-end data science projects, including problem definition, data collection/cleaning, model development, validation, and production deployment.

  • Highly proficient in Python (including libraries like pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.

  • Experienced in applied machine learning (e.g., predictive modeling, classification, regression, clustering), business analytics (e.g., A/B testing, causal inference), data visualization (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau), and experimental design.
