The impact you will have in this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director, AI Architect / Engineer to help design and define the technical architecture required to support modern AI capabilities across the organization. In this role, you will evaluate emerging AI technologies, develop architectural patterns, and help translate experimental AI capabilities into scalable system designs.

You will work closely with data scientists, product teams, and engineering organizations to design the technical frameworks required to integrate AI models, data platforms, and enterprise systems while ensuring solutions align with DTCC’s broader technology ecosystem.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

• AI Systems Architecture & Platform Design:

Experience designing architectures that support AI applications, including model integration, service orchestration, and scalable infrastructure.

• Model Integration & AI Service Development:

Hands-on experience connecting applications to AI models through APIs and service layers while managing prompts and responses.

• Agentic AI & LLM Orchestration:

Understanding of agent frameworks and emerging architectures for building intelligent AI-driven systems.

• Data Platforms & AI Data Architecture:

Deep understanding of modern data platforms such as Snowflake and the data pipelines required to support AI systems.

• Scalable Infrastructure Design:

Ability to design resilient architectures that support both experimentation and future enterprise AI deployment.

• Cross-Team Technical Collaboration:

Ability to work closely with data science and engineering teams to translate AI capabilities into system designs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in software engineering, platform architecture, or AI systems engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.

Talents Needed for Success:

• Strong expertise in software architecture and distributed system design.
• Experience integrating machine learning or generative AI models into enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks, APIs, and modern AI infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of modern data platforms such as Snowflake and enterprise data ecosystems.
• Ability to translate experimental AI solutions into scalable architectural designs.
• Strong collaboration skills when working with data scientists and engineering teams.
• Ability to evaluate emerging AI technologies and define practical architectural approaches for adoption.
