What you will do:
Lead the development of complex, integration-heavy features using TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS Lambda to sync data across global delivery platforms and EPOS systems.
Mentor a team of six engineers through code reviews, architectural guidance, and technical unblocking to maintain high delivery standards and system reliability.
Partner with the Head of Engineering to define the technical roadmap, manage system dependencies, and translate complex product requirements into scalable serverless solutions.
The ideal candidate:
Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js with a proven track record of building and scaling event-driven architectures on AWS Lambda.
Extensive experience with PostgreSQL and SQL database design, coupled with a strong understanding of modern frontend frameworks like React and React Query.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate technical debt, mentor junior talent, and collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders in a hybrid environment.
