Pricing Product Manager 

Job description:  

  • Responsible for articulating the trading pricing product vision and strategy for Superbet Group and converting that into a roadmap with key milestones and deliverables together with KPIs for defining what success looks like, reporting to the Head of Trading Product for Superbet Group 
  • Responsible for coordinating and working with a team of talented engineers and quants inside the trading organization to deliver on the articulated pricing strategy and responsible for overseeing the delivery of the key milestones of the roadmap and measuring performance against the strategic KPIs 

Key responsibilities:  

Best practices in product management 

  • Responsible for instilling a performance-based culture in the Product & Technology teams he/she will be interacting with 
  • Working with Pricing Engineering Squads to adhere to product management best practices 
  • Defining what success looks like for Pricing and how we measure that, and ensuring teams constantly track performance against those goals 
  • Ensuring the right broader stakeholder management in defining the Pricing Product Roadmap, consolidating input and ensuring all relevant voices are heard, all while ensuring we are as agile as possible in consolidating a roadmap for Pricing and delivering against that 
  • Managing Pricing through the full product life cycle (discovery, ideation, documentation, implementation, launch, measurement and iteration) 

Pricing Product Vision and Strategy 

  • Defining the Pricing Product Vision and Strategy that will bring Superbet to the no. 1 Sports Betting Operator globally, concentrated around customer price perception and margin performance 
  • Responsible for mapping the status quo/as-is and the desired vision, together with the strategic pillars that will close the gap 
  • Able to represent the cross section between the customer and the trading performance in articulating the strategy, and putting the customer at the heart of the strategy and its key initiatives 
  • Able to articulate what success looks like and defining and measuring the KPIs to track performance against those goals 
  • Able to convert the strategy into a 18-24 month roadmap, revisited on a quarterly basis 
  • Oversee the delivery of the roadmap, able to identify and unblock key bottlenecks, able to identify areas of underperformance and double down on those 
  • Work with the Pricing Engineering Manager to allocate resources against the different initiatives in the roadmap and ensure squads have E2E ownership, oversight and are solely responsible for the success of their key deliverables 

Innovation Agenda in Pricing 

  • Articulate the key differentiators in the Pricing Product Strategy that will make Superbet stand out in the space and maximize customer value perception and margin performance 
  • Able to balance between sustainable scaling of the business and closing gaps to best in class (ability to create a sustainable system that will allow us to open easily several new markets per quarter profitably) and disruptive innovation (bringing completely new practices and ways of thinking that will make it difficult for competitors to copy the Superbet Formula) 

Requirements:  

  • At least 3-5 years experience in Product Management and/or within the sports betting industry 
  • Strong understanding of E2E trading processes and functions (starting with offer creation, pricing, risk operations, liability management, etc.) is a very strong plus, or at least a track record of being able to onboard into a new (technical) industry is required 
  • An ability to travel for the job is required 
  • An understanding of best practices in product management is needed 
  • A proven strong performance management ethic and understanding of data and working with data to track performance is imperative 
  • Proven track record in product management roles in other sportsbook operators, or outside the industry 
  • Understanding of what best in class trading product can entail is a plus 
  • Understanding of trading pricing processes, best practices and tools is a plus
