Job Description SummaryThe Pricing Lead Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial and commercial data, developing pricing strategies, leading price governance, and delivering actionable insights to support data-driven decisions across the international region. The individual will collaborate closely with regional and international Finance and regional commercial leaders. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical capabilities, commercial acumen, and exceptional communication skills, with a passion for converting data into actionable business strategies. This role offers visibility to senior leadership and opportunities to shape the pricing strategy across international markets.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities

1. Analytics and Reporting

  • Analyze pricing data, market trends, and competitor activity to support pricing decisions.

  • Identify pricing errors, margin leakage, and inefficiencies through transactional data analysis.

  • Establish and maintain a robust, compliant process for managing competitive pricing data and practices.

  • Conduct competitive pricing and margin analysis and scenario modelling (e.g. price elasticity).

  • Provide analytical support for product pricing, new product launches, and promotional activities.

  • Generate and deliver regular reports on pricing performance, sales volumes, and margins to inform strategic decisions.

2. Governance and Compliance

  • Shape and enhance pricing governance frameworks to ensure agility and compliance across markets.

  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure pricing effectiveness, margin impact, and business performance.

  • Lead pricing governance and identify and share pricing best practices across regions.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing initiatives and strategies and recommend adjustments as needed.

  • Provide insights into the annual review of price targets, price approval levels, and contract standards.

3. Guidance and Strategy

  • Lead the design and implementation of pricing initiatives and models to optimize competitiveness, revenue, and profitability.

  • Recommend strategic pricing adjustments based on market intelligence and competitor analysis.

  • Assist in aligning pricing strategies across regions to support long-term revenue and margin growth.

  • Provide strategic input during budget cycles and annual pricing strategy planning.

  • Translate complex datasets into strategic pricing guidance and clear, actionable recommendations.

4. Collaboration and Communication

  • Promote data-driven decision-making by enhancing system and report usage among commercial teams.

  • Support the roll-out of pricing tools, automation and process improvements.

  • Collaborate with commercial operations, sales, product, marketing, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.

  • Support pricing for tenders, contracts, and new product launches.

  • Communicate pricing strategies and changes to relevant stakeholders to ensure understanding and alignment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. Master is a plus.

  • Some experience in pricing, analytics, financial analysis, or a related role.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency required, experience with Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization tools advantageous.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

  • Fluency in English required; additional language proficiency is desirable.

  • Experience with AI-driven analytics platforms, pricing automation tools, and machine learning applications is a plus.
