Presentation Specialist

Salary: £35,000 per annum plus a 15% shift differential (total £40,250.00), plus company benefits

Location: 2 King Edward Street, London EC1A 1HQ

Contract: Permanent, full time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Monday through Friday 16:00-00:00

Break: 30-minute lunch, unpaid

Work model: Fully onsite

Williams Lea seeks a Presentation Specialist to join our team!

Purpose of role

As a Presentation Specialist you will have the opportunity to work as part of a team liaising closely with clients and bankers to produce presentations materials. You will own and take responsibility for the work, in terms of the final product, e.g. consistency, deadline management, accuracy and quality in accordance with the Bank template and corporate guidelines.

Presentation Specialists take responsibility for the management of the document, within time and quality parameters, all while handling customer queries. You will work closely with the Workflow Coordinator giving them regular updates on workflow, deadlines and issues so that the client’s requirements can be effectively managed. This role will afford you the ability to develop effective working relationships with clients and colleagues to promote a strong working team.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete amendments to and create documents as requested by clients using the Bank’s template
  • Take ownership for the quality of your work and the associated deadlines
  • Use docBANK/Symphony for job related duties accurately and effectively
  • Accurately estimate the production time and liaise with Workflow Coordinators to ensure deadline adherence
  • Share knowledge and encourage a supportive team culture
  • Take a proactive approach to attendance and time management
  • Ensuring adherence of objectives and contractual obligations (Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators)
  • Attend to the front desk area in the absence of the Workflow Coordinator
  • Quality check samples of work produced and record findings on relevant systems
  • Act in a professional and consultative manner to all clients
  • Ensure a clear and comprehensive handover for any incoming staff

General tasks

  • Accurate and timely production of all Presentations materials
  • Ensure all work is quality checked before being returned to the client
  • Ensure complete submission of work to be randomly quality checked
  • Adherence of department policies and procedures
  • Reporting of any issues to relevant parties
  • Ad hoc requests from Williams Lea or the Client

Personal attributes

  • Experience creating and quality checking corporate PowerPoint presentations and pitchbooks is required
  • Experience of working in a corporate culture
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure
  • Must be able to work on their own initiative
  • Self motivated, ability to think on the spot
  • Continual improvement mentality, open and receptive to feedback
  • Strong service mentality, commitment to service excellence is essential
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Flexible attitude
  • Should be a quick learner, able to pick up skills relevant to the service needs
  • Determination to achieve results and being prepared to put in extra effort when required
  • Accountability for own results
  • The candidate must have advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2007
  • Knowledge of Adobe packages highly desired
  • A working knowledge of graphics production and applications is also desired
  • Exposure to a shift environment would be beneficial
