We are looking for a proactive and organised Prescription Coordinator to join our Reading-based operations team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of Montu UK's founding team, playing a key role in shaping the patient journey and supporting clinical excellence in a fast-growing, digitally led healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, detail-oriented, and confident working cross-functionally with pharmacy, clinical, and operational teams to ensure seamless prescription management and patient support.

About the role:

The role of the Prescription Coordinator is onsite at our Reading office and sits within the operations team. The role requires a dynamic and patient centric individual who wants to help Montu patients and clinicians get the best out of the service. The candidate will be part of the UK founding team and help establish the operations and patient facing team:

Responsibilities will include but not be restricted to :

  • Answering patient queries by telephone and email

  • Maintain patients’ electronic health records

  • Maintaining full and accurate record of prescriptions

  • Work closely with the pharmacy and clinical teams to ensure smooth dispensing and delivery of medication to patients

  • Updating patients with any changes in their prescription

  • Working with partner pharmacies to ensure prescriptions sent externally are delivered and dispensed correctly

  • Support operational and clinical recruitment and onboarding

  • Collate feedback and liaise with Head of Governance on complaints and compliments

  • Report Incidents and significant events and liaise with Head of Governance on Incident and Significant events

  • Support clinicians working in the service with operational queries

  • Liaise with product and tech support team on technical issues

  • Work closely with line manager and wider team on service improvement

  • Attend work related meetings as required

  • To maintain all mandatory training and familiarity with company policies and SOPS

  • Shift based and flexible working maybe required from time to time

Skills, Experience, and Qualification:

  • 2 plus years of work experience

  • Working in a healthcare environment advantageous but not essential

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Good understanding of working a highly regulated industry and following policies and SOP

  • High level of IT proficiency - especially Excel

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Able to work at pace whilst remaining focused and detail oriented

  • Competitive Salary - £28,000

  • 25 days holiday (rising to 27 after one year &30 after 2 years) + bank holidays
