About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Enterprise Sales Engineer to join our high-performing revenue team. This role is pivotal in supporting our enterprise sales efforts across the UK and EMEA large enterprises. You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor to CIOs, Heads of IT Finance, and other C-level stakeholders, helping them understand the strategic and technical value of our IT Financial Management SaaS solutions, including both ITFM and FinOps.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Enterprise Account Executives to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Own the technical sales cycle: requirements gathering, solution design, custom demonstrations and close collaboration with Solution Engineering on RFP responses, and Proof of Value (PoV) engagements.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery with IT and Finance stakeholders to map our solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Deliver compelling, consultative presentations and demonstrations tailored to specific customer pain points in IT cost transparency, budgeting, forecasting, chargeback/showback, and cloud cost optimisation.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into business language for senior executive audiences.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on ITFM and FinOps practices and tools (e.g., TBM, ServiceNow ITFM, or similar).
  • Collaborate with Product Management to relay market and customer feedback.
  • Support onboarding and enablement of channel partners and internal sales teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solution Consultant, Solution Engineer, or Pre-Sales role for B2B SaaS platforms, preferably in the IT Finance, ITFM, or cloud cost management (FinOps) space.
  • Proven track record engaging and influencing C-level executives, particularly CIOs and Heads of IT Finance.
  • Strong understanding of Finance and financial concepts based on the personas you need to engage and influence is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise selling methodologies, MEDDPICC, RAMPACT, Force Management, SPIN, Etc.
  • Strong understanding of IT financial management and/or FinOps, enterprise IT budgeting, cost allocation models, and financial governance is preferred.
  • Familiarity with TBM frameworks, cloud cost optimisation tools (AWS, Azure, GCP), ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle), and BI platforms.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and ever-changing environment where roles evolve and playbooks are still being written.
  • Able to collaborate with teams across product, engineering, and customer success to influence roadmap, improve feedback loops, and support enterprise customers hands-on.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a remote, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across complex enterprise organisations.

Nice to have

  • TBM or FinOps certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
