We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pre-Sales Consultant / Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in London. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving new business, supporting strategic accounts, and ensuring seamless collaboration between our sales and implementation teams. This role requires a deep understanding of our products, exceptional technical expertise, and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with experience in sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Executive Support: Proactively scope the technical solutions required to address customer requirements, assess customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommend optimal solutions and support while collaborating with our Account Executive Team to bring in new business and alert the Team to potential risks.
  • Strategic Account Management: Work with Strategic Account Managers to prevent churn and ensure the satisfaction and expansion of our strategic accounts.
  • GTM Team Assistance: Actively assist the Go-To-Market (GTM) team on Slack channels, providing timely technical insights and support.
  • Trade Shows: Installing the hardware, network and setting up the system for trade shows. Represent the company by showcasing our products and engaging with potential clients and partners.
  • Competitor Knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge of competitors’ products and strategies to effectively position our solutions and conduct deep dives on local competitors to enable our sales reps.
  • Product Expertise: Serve as the top expert on our hardware, software, integrations and APIs, providing in-depth technical knowledge to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partnership Demos: Conduct Tier 1 Partnership demos to facilitate new partner contracts and strengthen existing relationships.
  • RFPs and RFIs: be the technical point of contact in answering Request For Proposals and Request For Informations and collaborate with other departments to gather all necessary information.
  • Demo Stations and Demo Accounts: Ensure the upkeep and functionality of demo stations in our offices, providing a seamless and top quality experience for in-office and online demonstrations.
  • Implementation and Pro-Services Collaboration: Work closely with our implementation and professional services teams before and after closing deals to ensure a smooth handover and successful deployment.
  • Close relationship with regional sales leaders: Maintain a close relationship with your regional sales director and managers to fine-tune operations and align with their specific needs.
  • Collaboration with Product and Product Marketing: be the main point of contact for the Product teams to provide customer feedback and assist with product design questions and roadmap discussions. Collaborate with the Product Marketing team on product launches as and when required.
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management.

What you need to bring:

  • Demonstrated sales and presentation experience
  • Previous experience with Cloud SaaS ecosystem technologies in hospitality
  • Be naturally tech savvy and comfortable with new technologies
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of the hospitality industry, work experience in restaurant is appreciated
  • Excellent communication skills including experience speaking to technical and business audiences both internally and externally
  • Be a great team player and create strong relationships with stakeholders around the company
  • Other European languages are a plus but not essential
  • Basic understanding of API is a bonus
