MultiversX is a highly scalable, secure and decentralized blockchain network created to enable radically new applications, for users, businesses, society, and the new metaverse frontier.

About the Role


MultiversX is seeking a full-time PR specialist to join our growing marketing & communications team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling media relations and ongoing pitching to print, broadcast, online, and social media. They'll also be responsible for formulating strategies for increasing visibility and developing relationships with key media outlets.

The perfect candidate would have a proven track record working on PR campaigns and familiarity with the blockchain, crypto, and Web3 space.


Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Propose article concepts to various media outlets, including high-profile cryptocurrency and general mainstream publications, newsletters, and podcasts
  • Establish and uphold connections with media representatives
  • Promptly handle requests coming from media outlets
  • Monitor and evaluate media coverage
  • Coordinate, arrange, and prepare the team for media interview

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective public relations and media plans
  • Create timely and impactful press materials
  • Identify opportunities for feature stories, press placements
  • Manage correspondence with news media outlets
  • Participate at industry events/conferences
  • Attend virtual meetings and conferences
  • Maintain excellent relationships with media contacts
  • Follow and analyze industry news trends
  • Develop procedures for preparing team members for interviews and accurate framing of video, audio, and written content
  • Provide concise updates and summaries of PR activities
  • Report and measure results

About you:

  • 2+ years experience working in PR, Communications
  • Crypto / blockchain / FinTech industry knowledge and/or experience is essential
  • Solid writing skills and experience in developing compelling press releases
  • Strong understanding of media landscape and effective PR practices
  • Experience pitching to print, online, and social media
