About the role

We are looking for a creative, talented and passionate PR & Advocacy Manager to be fully responsible for all of the day-to-day areas of PR for the Northern Europe region (Ireland, DACH, Scandinavia & Benelux), focusing on driving brand and product strategies to engage media (consumer and corporate), VIP, macro and powerhouse influencers and makeup artists.

The PR Manager will drive local PR agencies to develop, implement, report and analyse strategic PR and VIP plans. This includes launching new territories, store launches, NPD, brand partnerships and campaigns while engaging with a diverse Charlotte Tilbury audience to drive increased brand awareness and sales.

As a PR Manager, North Europe, you will

  • Develop strategies and exceptional PR plans that can be executed locally to grow brand awareness of Charlotte Tilbury (person and brand) amongst targeted audiences.
  • Lead, inspire and empower a high-performing team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Promote and respect core brand values and work closely with all departments (including commercial, digital, training & education, NPD, global and marketing) and external partners to deliver integrated campaigns and relevant content.
  • Deliver plans for securing and utilising celebrity and digital influencer credentials along with VIP.
  • Collaborate closely with global PR team and local marketing teams to devise and deliver record breaking activity for each new launch (product or region).
  • Work with retailers to bring our own strategy to life with their PR teams, bringing retailer comms on the brand journey.
  • Create and execute strategies and plans to support brand launches including NPD, new markets and campaigns - driving brand pillars and delivering on key objectives, including but not limited to press coverage, influencer partnerships, gifting, mailers and eventing.
  • Guide local agencies to develop and secure consistent, regular, quality and on-Brand advocacy (print, .com, broadcast and social) across all key advocacy outlets with key focus on ROI.
  • Manage planning, execution and delivery of core Charlotte Tilbury spokesperson opportunities, profiling key members of the through 121 interviews with top tier press. Work alongside agencies to secure interviews, gather and vet questions, create briefing template and chaperone interview, sharing transcripts afterwards and remaining close until coverage is published.
  • Develop the local paid & organic strategy alongside the team for influencers, ranging from macro to micro.
  • Plan and execute local and international press and influencer trips to the highest standard, delivering strong ROI and creating noise and buzz within the PR industry.
  • Work closely with the commercial teams to build retailer relationships, develop, and execute plans to boost retailer moments.

Who you will work with

  • You will report into our wonderful Head of PR (Northern EU) and sit within the North EU team.
  • You will work closely alongside global PR and VIP teams as well as the wider EU North and South Marketing and Commercial teams.

About you

  • Ideally, you have strong, demonstrable experience within PR, either from Beauty/Fashion or agency side.
  • You are experienced in devising and implementing strategic plans with creative flair and ideation.
  • Excellent leadership, team management and communication skills. You know how to help your team see and be excited by what's possible!
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, creative and solution oriented, with a results driven mindset.
  • Solutions focused with the ability to motivate and inspire your team and agencies who you oversee!
  • Experienced in managing budgets and trackers.
  • Adept at managing multiple stakeholders. You have great relationship-building skills with the ability to network at all levels and influence up with ease!
  • You can create an open and collaborative environment to work in, be flexible, adaptable and have a willingness to learn.
  • You are able to navigate and negotiate around obstacles, you can pivot with ease, highly organised and know how to manage difficult conversations.
  • Passionate about stories and current affairs, with a finger on the pulse of social and news trends. Strong writing skills and a creative flair when sharing round ups and presentations, editing, proof-reading or fact checking.
  • Hands on practical approach, willing to get ‘stuck in’ when necessary!
  • Please note, you need to be flexible and able to travel across the EU region as and when needed.
