Location: London (Chancery Lane)

Working Pattern: Full time, hybrid working (3 days in, 2 days flex.)

About the role

Our Brand Communications team has an exciting opportunity for a creative, driven and commercially focused Director. You will ideally have big brand experience including, integrated and sponsorship campaigns, influencer and social, newsjacking, and potentially global hub coordination. As well as working with a broad spectrum of big brand clients, you will also contribute to organic and new business development initiatives, manage and develop junior team members and oversee scopes of work, budgets, and resourcing.


The day to day

  • Provide strategic counsel and advice to clients, developing and delivering innovative, insightful and integrated campaigns
  • Have your finger on the culture pulse and share trends with the wider team, leading, empowering and supporting them in the delivery of their roles
  • Develop new business and lead the whole process end-to-end, alongside monitoring and proactively developing opportunities to secure commercial growth for the division through organic and new opportunities
  • Accountability for pipeline and forecasting
  • Building strong senior client relationships which will in-turn enhance revenue for the team
  • Develop long term client satisfaction by managing and implementing client service programmes
  • Create and manage budgets, ensuring a balance between client service and profitability
  • Define KPIs and measurement metrics, using them to increase client satisfaction and improve divisional performance
  • Lead, motivate and develop account teams using progressive people management techniques ensuring the optimum combination of skills and experience to achieve excellent results for clients
  • Connect with colleagues from across the Grayling network, leveraging opportunities to work together to develop global clients for commercial benefit and to enhance professional development and learning
  • Responsible for supporting with team and agency profile through marketing efforts including award submissions, profile opportunities and wider marketing / events activity
  • Management of team capacity planning and mapping resource
  • Develop and maintain an active network of business contacts for building future new business pipelines
