Your role in the Team’s Success

We are seeking a passionate and creative PR & Communications Manager to join our growing team at an exciting time of transformation. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the public perception of IG and driving impactful brand awareness. From playful stunts, to press releases, to campaigns and special projects, you’ll play a key role in delivering these and making sure they are fully on brand and aligned with our business targets. 

What you'll do

Develop and execute compelling consumer PR campaigns:  

  • Work with our new Consumer PR agency to craft and implement creative PR strategies to generate media coverage across key target publications and broadcast outlets.  

 Support the Brand Partnership Manager on sports PR campaigns:  

  • Manage the development and execution of PR campaigns related to our England Cricket sponsorship. From working with talent, to stadiums, to CSR initiativesyou'll play a pivotal role. 

Develop and launch a new messaging framework:  

  • Collaborate with the Head of Brand and Communications, Customer Insights and agency partners to develop and launch a consistent and compelling messaging framework across all communication channels. 

Own award applications:  

  • Lead the development and submission of award applications, ensuring strong storytelling and compelling narratives. 

Champion the "voice of the customer" within the brand team: 

  • Actively collaborate with customer insights and product teams to deeply understand the needs, desires, and pain points of our audience and ensure their perspectives are central to all brand decisions. 

 Monitor and analyze PR performance:  

  • Track media coverage, analyse campaign effectiveness, and generate regular reports to share with IG stakeholders. Continuously identify and adapt PR strategies based on data and insights. 

What you'll need for this role

  • Whether you’re from an agency or an in-house team, proven experience in a fast-paced PR or communications role is key. Bonus if you’re from a technology background.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and communicate complex information clearly and concisely. 

  • An interest in undertaking tasks outside of a traditional PR rolethere's a lot to do at IG and so a general interest in strategic projects relating to communications is key.  

  • Experience in developing and executing successful PR campaigns, from concept to execution. 

  • Ability to work independently and proactively, while also effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
