We’re looking for a passionate PPC Executive to join the team and help grow our UK/Intl and core EU markets. You will work primarily on PPC/Paid Search/SEM/SEA but will have the opportunity to work closely with other paid channels (App, Display, Paid Social and Affiliates). You will be responsible for setting up, managing, and optimising campaigns, and executing our testing agenda.

Data is centric to everything that we do, therefore we need someone who has an analytical approach and loves getting into the detail on the performance of their campaigns.

What you'll do as a PPC Executive at Trainline...🚅

  • Monitor and analyse PPC campaigns, delivering rich insight to stakeholders and drive optimisation decisions

  • You'll be responsible for reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

  • Develop, launch, and scale campaigns to optimise performance

  • Put forward innovative test ideas to drive performance improvements, including new partners, technologies, or solutions

  • You'll have the ability to deliver on key responsibilities with a high degree of autonomy

We'd love to hear from you if you have...👋

  • 1-2 years' experience with paid search/PPC campaigns

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills

  • Experience running and optimising Google Ads and Bing Ads accounts

  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting

  • Broad understanding of digital marketing tactics, specifically the Google auction

  • Experience working within Spreadsheets, Tableau, Dashboards

  • Experience setting up and reporting on ad copy and landing page experiments

  • Strong experience in manipulating large data sets in Excel

  • Data driven attitude with a growth mindset and ability to problem solve

Bonus points if you have...

  • A good understanding of other digital marketing channels

  • Experience running large scale complex PPC/SEM accounts

  • Experience with automated campaign management tools, SQL and writing Google Ads scripts is a plus
