Role Overview

This role will assist with the building and support of the Microsoft Power Platform solutions that power Nano Fibre UK’s fibre-to-the-home rollout. We design and extend Power Apps, Dataverse schemas, Power Automate flows, Power Pages portals, Power BI dataflows—and integrate with SQL Server, Azure services and custom C# components—to equip our installation engineers, finance, H&S, fleet and storeroom teams, and customer service staff with the tools they need every day. As our platform matures, you’ll help coordinate requirements, timelines and deliverables across stakeholders and our technical squad.

Role Overview

As Power Platform Project Coordinator, you’ll sit at the intersection of business and technology—partnering with operations teams in the UK, project sponsors in finance/H&S/fleet, and our Power Platform engineers. You’ll translate strategic objectives into clear requirements, maintain the project backlog, track sprint progress, manage risks and ensure timely delivery. A strong grasp of technology—especially Microsoft Power Platform—is a big advantage, since you’ll frequently validate estimates, clarify technical dependencies and coach non-tech stakeholders on what’s feasible.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Requirements & Backlog Management
    • Elicit, document and prioritize business requirements for Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and related solutions.
    • Maintain a clear, groomed backlog in Azure Boards or Jira; refine user stories with acceptance criteria.
  2. Sprint & Release Coordination
    • Plan and facilitate sprint ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos and retrospectives.
    • Coordinate with Technical Lead to balance capacity, allocate tasks and adjust scope.
    • Track delivery milestones and manage release schedules across environments (dev/test/prod).
  3. Stakeholder Communication
    • Act as the primary point of contact for operations, finance, H&S and customer-service teams.
    • Provide regular status reports, highlight risks/issues, and escalate blockers.
    • Run user-acceptance test (UAT) sessions and capture feedback for continuous improvement.
  4. Technical Liaison
    • Translate technical limitations and dependencies (custom connectors, webhooks, Dataverse schemas) into business-friendly language.
    • Validate estimates from engineers on tasks like API integrations, C# plugin development or dataflow optimization.
    • Ensure non-functional requirements (performance, security roles, governance) are captured and tested.
  5. Risk & Quality Management
    • Identify, log and monitor project risks; drive mitigation plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Coordinate QA/UAT cycles: define test scenarios, manage defect tracking and sign-off processes.
  6. Documentation & Training
    • Maintain project artifacts: requirements specs, process flows, release notes and decision logs.
    • Assist in drafting “how-to” guides and coordinate end-user training or demos when solutions go live.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems or related field.
  • 2+ years in project coordination or project management, preferably in IT or software development.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform components (Power Apps, Automate, BI, Dataverse).
  • Hands-on familiarity with Agile tools (Azure Boards, Jira) and ceremony facilitation.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and stakeholder-management experience.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner or Agile/Scrum Master).
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals or Power Platform App Maker Associate.
  • Exposure to SQL Server, REST-API concepts, webhooks and custom connector configurations.
  • Experience in utilities, field-service implementations or remote-operations environments.

What We Offer

  • 20 days annual leave plus Bank holidays.
  • Remote-first culture with flexible hours aligned to UK working times.
  • Professional development budget for PM and technical certifications.
  • Cross-functional impact: your coordination drives on-time delivery of critical tools for our field and office teams.

Interview Process

  1. Intro Call: HR and hiring manager overview.
  2. PM Exercise: Case study on backlog prioritization and sprint planning for a Power Platform rollout.
  3. Technical Fit: Discussion with Technical Lead on mapping requirements to Power Platform capabilities.
  4. Culture & Collaboration: Meet cross-functional stakeholders; explore your stakeholder-management approach.
  5. Offer & Onboarding: Final offer, followed by a structured coordination-focused onboarding plan.
