We are looking for an experienced Power Platform Developer to provide development and technical support across our Power Platform applications and client environments.
The role will work closely with our Managed Services team, providing technical expertise to help resolve application support tickets, troubleshoot complex issues and deliver fixes and enhancements. Alongside this, you will provide broader Power Platform development support across the business and our client engagements.
What You'll Be Doing- Provide technical support to our Managed Services team for Power Platform application tickets and issues.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Power Platform applications.
- Develop, maintain and enhance applications using Power Apps.
- Build and support automated workflows using Power Automate.
- Work with Dataverse and other data sources and integrations.
- Diagnose application, workflow, permissions and integration issues.
- Deliver fixes, configuration changes and application enhancements.
- Support application releases and deployments across environments.
- Work with technical teams and stakeholders to understand issues and requirements.
- Provide wider Power Platform development support across client engagements.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to applications and solutions.
- Maintain appropriate technical documentation.
- Follow development, testing, security and change management standards.
This is a varied role combining hands-on Power Platform development with technical application support. You will act as a point of technical expertise for our Managed Services colleagues while also contributing to wider Power Platform development, enhancements and client requirements.
RequirementsWhat We're Looking For
- 2-5 years of strong hands-on Power Platform development experience.
- Good experience with Power Apps, including Canvas and/or Model-driven applications.
- Strong Power Automate experience.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dataverse.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues within live Power Platform applications, taking ownership through to resolution.
- Understanding of Power Platform environments, solutions, security roles and permissions.
- Experience deploying solutions across development, test and production environments.
- Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365 and other systems or APIs.
- Good understanding of application lifecycle management and development best practice.
- Comfortable balancing planned development work with responsive application support.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Power Pages experience.
- Power BI knowledge.
- SharePoint Online experience.
- Azure services and integration experience.
- Dynamics 365 experience.
- Power Platform governance and Centre of Excellence experience.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
- Experience supporting enterprise, Government or public-sector environments.
- Experience working alongside Managed Services or application support teams.
