The Power Insight Analyst will help develop and deliver a dedicated Power Insight offering to clients including market pulses, weekly and monthly reports covering developments in the European power markets. Directly leveraging data from our power product and developing proprietary models & analytics, you will research, structure and analyse issues affecting the power markets and deliver timely insights to clients.

Your mission is to:

  • Help scope and develop Kpler’s Power Insight offering
  • Research & track power market news
  • Contribute to weekly, monthly reports and product timely market pulses providing fresh insights in the power markets.
  • Develop relevant modelling tools to expand our knowledge base (LT demand, battery deployment)
  • Become an expert user of Kpler’s power product to extract meaningful insights to take to clients
  • Develop and deliver market presentations to clients
  • Interact with prospects and clients to support pre and post sales process

You will be a match if you are or have:

  • 2-5 years’ experience analysing European Power markets
  • Proven track record writing regular, concise and engaging market reports.
  • Experience working with large, disparate and/or unstructured data sets (python/SQL skills).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to highlight trends and use complex data to support decisions.
  • Team player, quick learner and able to work with short deadlines across different tasks.
