The Power BI Engineer will design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy and performance while collaborating with stakeholders for data-driven decision-making.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. During the initial onboarding period (first 3 weeks), the role will require full on-site presence to ensure effective integration with the team and business processes. After this period, the position will transition to a hybrid work model with 3 days per week on-site.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and queries
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reports
- Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms, etc.)
- Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions and resolve data-related issues
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis
- Document processes, data models, and reporting solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer/Engineer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling)
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
Nice to have:
- Experience with large-scale data environments
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (nice to have)
- Microsoft certifications related to Power BI or data analytics
