Pubity Group is looking for a Post Production Manager to build and run the post-production function across our portfolio of channels. This is an initial 6-month FTC, with the potential to extend.

You'll oversee the post-production resource, pipeline and delivery across original, long-form, short-form and commercial output. Managing workflows, systems and standards so every edit lands on time, on brief, on brand and to a technical standard we can stand behind.

You'll partner closely with Show Development, Creative Directors, Strategy, Production and Client Services to translate briefs into high quality, engaging video content.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Resource Management

  • In collaboration with the Head of Production, you will lead, mentor and grow the post-production team - editors, motion designers and freelance support, including hiring and onboarding.

  • Own capacity planning and scheduling across concurrent projects, assign briefs based on skill set, availability and priority so workload is balanced and deadlines are met.

  • Build and manage the freelance/vendor bench - brief in, review work and manage day rates and budgets.

  • Identify skills gaps and proactively develop team capability through coaching, training and shared best practice.

  • Act as brand guardian across all output, ensure every deliverable aligns with the tone, visual identity and platform strategy of the specific channel it's running on.

  • Source and brief in top edit talent to support the breadth of our content.

Pipeline, Workflow & Technical Standards

  • Set up and evolve the post-production pipeline end-to-end, from footage handover through edit, review, delivery and archive.

  • Create clear house standards and guidelines so edits are portable - any editor can pick up another's project and continue without friction.

  • Establish and enforce standards for file management, storage infrastructure (RAID, NAS, archival), naming conventions, versioning and export specs.

  • Own delivery standards across all formats: codec and colour pipelines (RAW/log, ACES, HDR), platform audio specs (LUFS targets) and captioning/accessibility requirements.

  • Evaluate and roll out new tools and AI-assisted production techniques, own the guardrails for how AI is used on client work.

Delivery & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Creative Directors and Strategy to ensure edits reflect the intended tone, narrative and commercial objectives of each brief.

  • Work with Client Services to manage review cycles, revisions and delivery timelines with clarity and professionalism.

  • Collaborate with Production on shoot planning, on-set technical requirements and footage handover protocols.

  • Contribute to scoping and pitch conversations, flagging post-production complexity, resource requirements and cost implications early.

  • Report on team output, turnaround and delivery performance against agreed KPIs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in post-production, with at least 2-3 years managing a post team in an agency, social publisher, or production environment.

  • Proven track record running post-production pipelines across social, branded content and long-form.

  • Strong technical grounding, comfortable making decisions on storage infrastructure (RAID, NAS), codecs, colour pipelines, audio delivery specs and edit-suite hardware.

  • Expert working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; familiarity with DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro.

  • Solid understanding of post-production project management and people management, including hiring, performance development, freelance briefing and vendor management.

  • Working knowledge of social platform specifications, delivery specs and captioning/accessibility standards.

  • Comfortable managing multiple projects, teams and clients simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

What Good Looks Like

  • Sets high standards and holds the team to them without micromanaging.

  • Runs a transparent pipeline, everyone knows what they're on and when it's due.

  • Anticipates production bottlenecks and resolves them before they become client-facing problems.

  • Raises the overall output standard of the studio through investment in tooling, workflow and team capability.

  • Keeps the team motivated and proactive between renders and archives.

  • Calm under pressure with the ability to prioritise clearly when demand is high.

  • Direct and constructive communicator, comfortable giving and receiving feedback at all levels.

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a social publisher, creator-led media company, or entertainment or YT brand.

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools and how they slot into a production pipeline.

  • Experience contributing to tender or pitch processes, including capability presentations and scoping.
