Job Description

What's in it for you?  

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to build on their career within Real Estate. We support both internal and external stakeholders, working closely with the Credit and Sales teams and perform a wide variety of functions to support our borrower, this includes tasks across account management, case support, case reporting, customer data management and working with our trusted third-party solicitors and asset managers.  

The team

You will be part of a team of 3. The residential portfolio team are looking for a bridging loan portfolio professional to join our team. The successful candidate will enhance our borrower journey by providing support for our live loans until they redeem.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of ~200 loans.
  • Handle post-completion tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service via calls and emails.
  • Maintain proactive communication with borrowers and brokers.
  • Monitor loan performance, manage arrears, and recommend strategies for defaults.
  • Instruct solicitors, receivers, and other third parties when needed.
  • Forecast redemptions and liaise with Finance.
  • Collaborate with Credit and Sales teams on security releases, drawdowns, extensions, and new loans.
  • Support business projects and audits with data compilation.

Qualifications

Ideally you'll have

  • Essential: Real Estate loan experience; operational/customer service background preferred.
  • Experience with solicitors, asset managers, and detailed loan documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Highly proactive, collaborative, and customer-focused.
  • Ability to present loan data and KPIs internally.
  • Problem-solving mindset and process improvement approach.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritisation skills.
  • Flexible, resilient, and team-oriented.
  • Confident in challenging the status quo and driving change.
