Who we are looking for
The Portfolio Solutions Sales Vice President (VP) will be responsible for originating and sourcing new business across the full range of Portfolio Solutions Products in addition to the broader suite of State Street Markets products and services. The candidate will be responsible for covering existing clients and prospecting for new clients for the firm’ Markets and Trading business, including Electronic Trading, Parterned Trading and Currency Management. The successful candidate will report directly to the EMEA Head of Portfolio Solutions Sales.

What you will be responsible for
As the Vice President of UK Sales within Portfolio Solutions you will be responsible for:
Building a sales pipeline and converting prospects into client wins across a variety of trading solutions for both asset owners and asset managers in the UK.
Drive revenue production to meet growth targets across existing businesses and new initiatives.
Educating clients on the features and benefits of the firm’s agency trading platform.
Collaborate across the Markets division in addition to the broader global services and asset management divisions to maximize opportunities to provide our solutions to clients.
Contribute client feedback to management and contribute to the overall growth strategy.
Meeting and exceeding annual sales and growth performance goals and KPIs.
What we value

Proven success in a sales capacity within a large multinational organization.
Deep knowledge of trading products to identify and onboard new institutional clients.
Proven success in building and maintaining client relationships with key decision makers including Chief Investment Officers, Chief Operating Officers, and Heads of Trading.
Track a sales pipeline and provide regular updates to management.
Ability to communicate feedback from clients and prospects back into the overall organization to improve delivery of solutions and improve the overall client experience.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; business or finance preferred.
CFA designation is favorable but not required.
Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in capital markets with institutional sales experience.
Understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS) and functionality.
Experience in sales and trading or OMS/EMS connectivity or other aspects of trading.
Proven track record of success in origination and coverage of institutional clients.
Firm understanding of global multi asset class market structure and best execution standards.
Able to work in a fast-paced, market-driven, environment and be dynamic in your approach.
Desire to build relationships across internal divisions to uncover client opportunities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort interacting across all levels, including clients and internal stakeholders.
Familiarity with multi asset products, TCA, trading operations and agency relationships.
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM software package.
Language skills, fluent in English and one other European language is a plus.
Additional requirements
Travel up to 50% for client interactions
Full time in office role with flexibility to accommodate frequent travel.
