We are seeking an experienced Portfolio/Product Manager to join our rapidly expanding CPG insights team to for our major grocery client. This is a fast-paced environment but with great support from our partnering retailer with a unique opportunity to help shape a growing tech business.

In this role you will drive the use of our cutting-edge tools and support how we leverage insights to build your client’s (i.e. Coke) capability in answering key questions around category strategy, customer trends, assortment, promotional activities and customer activation.   

Role & Responsibilities

Supplier Management & Go To Market

  • Support the team in Go To Market launches of new product offerings. This includes Webinars, mass mail outs, and other front-line sales comms.
  • Build product knowledge to be able to support Front line sales team with accurate information, including future features as they become available.
  • Support new propositional developments as we seek to expand our offering
  • Understand in detail the release timeline, and what restrictions that puts on when Suppliers can be submitted and their timeline to launch and communicate and manage with the team.
  • Lead program of supplier client feedback to ensure we offer excellent product offering and client service
  • Systems and processes -  lead and embed new systems and processes that enable the wider team to operate more effectively end to end

Supplier Onboarding & Management

  • Collaborating with front line sales, and account management, resolving client issues as they arise in a timely fashion.
  • As clients reach price agreed in the sales process, processing contracts quickly and accurately, fielding contract questions, and gaining sign off.
    • Note: decisions on legal clauses are supported by our legal representative - this role undertakes the more holistic management of contracts and queries. 
  • Manage a Sales inbox ensuring it is organised appropriately and suppliers responded to quickly either by yourself or farmed out to the right team member to solve.
  • Oversee the setup and configuration of suppliers and their users in a timely proactive fashion
    • Accountable for ensuring suppliers are onboarded as quickly as possible, with as few issues as possible.
  • Tracking supplier feedback/complaints as required for auditing purposes

Performance and payment management

  • Manage the integrity of the detailed sales tracker to enable good performance tracking, proposing enhancements where appropriate.
  • Accurately update the Accounts Payable team as deals are signed.

Requirements
  • Tecsa are seeking degree standard individuals with Marketing or business studies experience for an Insights Sales Executive role as part of our Insight collaboration team.
  • Preference for experience in the retail industry, ideally Grocery. 
  • An organised individual, able to hold the status in mind of several clients at one time,  confident working with Google sheets/Microsoft Excel and other Google and Microsoft productivity tools.
  • Client facing role - The ideal candidate will thrive by building a deep understanding of the MoreViu insight platform, and excelling at building relationships and demonstrating strong client management skills  
  • You will work along-side our passionate, driven and supportive Supplier CPG consultants in a fast-paced environment.    
  • A strong business development and commercial mindset.  
  • Ability to think on their feet and work through problems methodically.  
  • Loves collaborating within a supportive but fast paced environment.  
  • Excellent proactive thinking skills and communication that helps identify and solve problems before they become problems.  
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to ensure suppliers have a best in class service to enable their work/services with Tecsa.
  • An active learner with an inquisitive mind and talent for problem solving.
  • Location : A hybrid role with requirements to be in Bradford for 5 days a month and London Paddington 1 day per month.
