Job Description
The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase is responsible for accelerating the firm's data and analytics journey. The Transformation team is responsible for executing on strategic initiatives to deliver the CDAO priorities. The team leads critical cross CDAO projects that enable Lines of Businesses and Corporate Functions with the tools and solutions to achieve AI-ready data, and effectively and efficiently manage data risk.
As an Associate on the Transformation Team withing CDAO, you will be responsible for supporting successful execution and completion of projects.
Job Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assisting in the coordination of project activities, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within scope.
  • Documentation: Maintaining project documentation, including meeting minutes, project plans, and status reports.
  • Communication: Facilitating communication between team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure everyone is informed and aligned.
  • Scheduling: Helping to develop and manage project schedules, including setting deadlines and tracking progress.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and issues, and assisting in the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Support: Providing administrative support to the project management team, including organizing meetings and preparing presentations.
  • Problem Solving: Assisting in resolving project-related issues and challenges as they arise.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, ensuring that project activities are completed on time and within scope.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration and convey project information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and information to support decision-making and problem-solving within projects.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in project documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and address project-related challenges, using critical thinking to develop solutions.
  • Time Management: Efficiently managing time and resources to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Monday.com, as well as MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments, maintaining flexibility in approach.
  • Leadership Potential: Demonstrating initiative and the ability to take on leadership responsibilities as needed.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Experience within a data and/or analytics organization, or specific strategy project experience in the field of data and/or analytics
  • Experience and technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, or data architecture preferred
