Job Description

Kalypso, a Rockwell Automation Business, is looking for a strategic content manager to lead the development of channel-specific storytelling.

You will oversee Kalypso's content marketing engine, overseeing the development of articles, blogs, videos, eBooks and more to raise brand awareness, grow engagement and build sales demand for Kalypso. You will also develop media and analyst outreach to maximise the organic impact of content by strategic distribution and to grow the recognition of Kalypsonians as influencers.

You will report to the Global Marketing Director and collaborate with industry, portfolio, alliance and digital marketing teams.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with marketing/practice leadership to define editorial themes in consideration of campaigns/our priorities.
  • Guide the development of industry- and capability-specific editorial calendars with support from commercial marketing and a team of editors and authors from the business.
  • Oversee content production, being editor-in-chief for Kalypso Viewpoints - ghostwriting, editing, and ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Manage the Viewpoints CMS platform to publish content.
  • Implement the Viewpoints subscriber newsletter programme.
  • Lead efforts to grow Viewpoints subscribers and track content performance, value, and engagement metrics.
  • Optimised content for SEO and user experience by applying support and insights from the digital marketing team.
  • Champion content reuse across campaigns and manage syndication and amplification of pieces like eBooks and featured articles through both owned and earned media.
  • Lead Kalypso's earned and paid media efforts, including syndicating content to media publications, ensuring we meet publication requirements and report performance.
  • Manage Kalypso's content on the LiveSocial platform, which extends internal awareness across Rockwell and enables sales teams to easily share and amplify strategic content across social channels.
  • Promote Kalypso subject matter experts to build visibility and expertise through authored content and social engagement.
  • Partner with the Rockwell PR team to manage Kalypso PR projects, including press releases, media outreach, and support for corporate announcements.
  • Be a primary Kalypso liaison for analyst relations, coordinating briefings, inquiries, and submissions in partnership with Rockwell's corporate analyst relations team.
  • Maintain relationships with analyst firms and track coverage to inform messaging and positioning.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to travel 5-10% for events.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Five years of relevant experience (preffered in marketing, communications, or content strategy).
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a business-related field.
  • Marketing, communications experience in professional services, consulting, or B2B environments.
  • Excellent project management, and partner management skills.
  • Collaborate and build relationships in a global, virtual environment.
  • Experience developing SEO-optimised content in partnership with digital marketing teams.
  • Familiarity with social platforms and experience coaching internal authors or influencers to build their expertise.
  • Experience working with marketing and publishing tools including Eloqua, Seismic, Percolate, LiveSocial, Google Analytics and content management systems (Craft CMS).
