Processes insurance policy transactions, including new business, endorsements, cancellations, renewals, payment updates, and follow-ups. Inputs and updates policy data accurately, prepares and dispatches signed documents, maintains files, supports intermediaries, and attends product training. The role requires strong attention to detail, customer relationship skills, computer literacy, communication, teamwork, and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
POLICY PROCESSING ASSISTANT
The position will be based in the Individual Business Unit (IBU).
Duties will include :
- To input data on our computer system in an accurate and timely manner :
- To process new, endorsements, cancellation and renewal of business
- To update payment mode
- To perform transaction follow-up
- To deliver documents duly signed as per Company’s standards for customer satisfaction
- To keep up to date in respect of product knowledge by attending product training as delivered by Company
- To file documents and memos
- To despatch copies of documents for intermediaries
Qualifications and Experience :
The ideal candidate should possess the following profile :
- Holder of a HSC
- Should, ideally, have at least 1 year experience in the Insurance industry with excellent customer relationship skills
- Should ideally be studying for CII
- Be fully computer literate
- Have good oral and written communication skills
- Be proactive, dynamic and result-oriented with a good eye for details
- Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Be a team player
