We’re looking for an exceptional Podcast Client Partner to drive revenue growth, expand our UK market presence, and champion the power of podcast advertising. What You'll Do

  • Sell podcast advertising solutions to brands, media agencies, and creative agencies across some of the biggest and best loved Podcasts in the UK, driving revenue growth and expanding Spotify’s position in the industry.
  • Serve as the UK expert for podcast advertising, helping shape Spotify’s sales strategy and positioning in the market.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with key UK clients, media buyers, planners, agency teams and trading desks to drive long-term business success.
  • Partner closely with Spotify’s frontline UK sales team to drive incremental value, revenue, and seamless collaboration.
  • Work across multiple agency departments—radio, digital, branded content, and innovation teams—to educate, sell and deliver successful podcast campaigns.
  • Develop and present compelling sales narratives using data, insights, and industry research to demonstrate the value of podcast advertising.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure that UK-based podcasts are set up for effective monetisation and scale.
  • Lead post-campaign analysis, defining next steps for brands and ensuring continued engagement.
  • Educate and inspire UK-based clients to leverage Spotify’s podcast content and suite of products from sponsorship, custom solutions, social and video to achieve their business goals.
  • Meet and exceed UK-specific advertising revenue targets.
  • Represent Spotify at Industry events, acting as a thought leader and brand ambassador.
  • Track sales activity using Salesforce and internal systems.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in podcast advertising sales, media agency, or online sales, with a strong preference for digital media.
  • Strong existing relationships with UK clients, media agencies, trading desks, and creative agencies.
  • Deep understanding of the UK media landscape, including key players, trends, and opportunities within the podcast and digital audio space
  • Experience of working with talent and taking a strategic approach with advertisers to deliver longer term brand partnerships
  • Proven experience in selling ad networks and audience-targeted advertising.
  • Knowledge of online and offline media, with the ability to develop creative audio and digital solutions.
  • Operationally proficient and comfortable managing campaign execution at a detailed level.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and deal-closing skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote for reporting and presentations.
  • A deep understanding of the UK digital advertising ecosystem.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • This role is based in London
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 2-3 times per week.
