Service Credit Union is seeking a full-time PMO Project Specialist who will contribute to the successful delivery of organizational outcomes in helping support the Project Management Office (PMO) achieve its goals. Primary focus includes project planning and execution, stakeholder management, project metrics tracking, reporting, project platform support, and developing project collateral. In addition, this position oversees and manages various projects within the PMO and partner-aligned business areas.

Compensation range: $94,960 - $100,000. Flexible depending on experience and qualifications. Junior level candidates typically start at the lower end of the range, with opportunities for growth as skill develop.
Location: Portsmouth NH. This position qualifies for our Hybrid policy of three days on-site and two days remote.

A Day in the Life:
- Assist PMO and project stakeholders in moving through the project lifecycle, operating as a strong servant leader. Assist in post-project success review and evaluation following project closure.
- Oversee project initiatives and ensure all stakeholders meet the expected requirements of the project deadlines and schedules. Remove impediments and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Align project scope, timeline, budget, and deliverables for all assigned projects.
- Assist in organizing team members for each project and hold stakeholders accountable to ensure projects are on time and within budget. Coordinate cross-team dependencies and maintain governance.
- Facilitate change requests to ensure all parties are informed on impact to project timelines, budget, schedule, and quality.
- Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information and metrics.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and other documentation to assist project teams and business stakeholders in communicating and understanding project status, risks, actions, issues, and decisions.
- Develop proficiency in working with PMO standard products, including but not limited to Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) tools, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, and JIRA.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding credit union policies and procedures, member financial data, personal information, and work-related events.
- Provide quality support and maintain a professional relationship with peers, management, other staff, and members through cooperation, mutual trust, and respect.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience in and strong understanding of formal project management methodologies. Background with Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Disciplined Agile, etc.) strongly preferred.
- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes.
- Experience in working with a variety of Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) and AI tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Team player with ability to motivate, train, and establish strong rapport and credibility with business teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Copilot, and various web-based applications required.
Education/Experience/Certifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or related field required.
Experience: Minimum 1 - 3 years’ experience in a project management capacity or function.
Certification(s): Project Management certification preferred.
