Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PMO Analyst to join LGC and provide governance to various key projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) by providing analytical insights, managing project portfolios, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Role Responsibilities

  • Project Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed data analysis to provide insights and recommendations for project improvements. Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and maintain PMO standards, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Risk Management: Monitor project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to ensure optimal utilization of resources across projects.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or PMO roles, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and portfolios.
  • Experience working within the Life Sciences sector is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
