The editor will curate NBCNews.com's owned and social platforms, including the homepage and app, write breaking news alerts for the app and email, and distribute stories across social accounts. • Distribute and pitch stories to partners such as Apple News, Yahoo and Flipboard
• Monitor analytics and audience behavior to inform story curation and strategy
• Work with photo editors to ensure the homepage and app are always looking sharp
• Ensure a seamless handover with the editors in Los Angeles and New York
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and comparable work experience
• 3 or more years' experience in an international digital newsroom
• A broad knowledge of current affairs, including US politics & affairs, international affairs, pop culture and sports
• Must be comfortable working in a hybrid work environment
