The Opportunity
Dubber is looking for an experienced Platform/Cyber Engineer to join our technology team in London.You will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced company working within a cross-functional team to drive the design, development and release of products that deliver the company's vision and strategy. As a Platform/Cyber Engineer you will need to have professional experience in Cloud Platforms and Cyber Controls and a deep understanding of technology. You should also be personable and capable of collaboration with others.
The Role
Reporting to The Head of Platform Engineering, you will have a range of different tasks you will be involved in, some of which will be to:
- Work within a cross-functional team to optimize, maintain and automate our platform.
- Design, operationalize, implement, and maintain complex cloud applications.
- Review, understand and implement Cyber tools across our platform.
- Analyze platform / Cloud Finops in order to contribute to cost optimisation opportunities.
- Implement Site Reliability practices for observability and uptime management.
- Participate and contribute to the Platform Support Roster.
- Contribute to engineering discussions across our software platform.
- Implement best practices for security and performance.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and/or Technical background and experience in agile software delivery
- Demonstrated experience on modern platforms such as Kubernetes running on cloud platforms.
- Proven experience in Infra as code using Terraform.
- Proven experience in GitOps concepts.
- Proven experience in CICD concepts.
- Proven experience in Networking concepts.
- Experience in implementing and Operationalising Cyber tools at the platform/network layer.
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player and deliver high quality solutions
