About incident.io

incident.io is the leading all-in-one platform for incident management. From small bugs to major outages, incident.io helps teams respond fast, reduce downtime, and improve every time something goes wrong.

Since launching in 2021, we’ve helped 800 companies—including Netflix, Airbnb and Block—resolve over 250,000 incidents. Every month, more than 30,000 responders across Engineering, Product and Support use incident.io to fix things faster.

We’re a small team that cares deeply about pragmatism, quality, magic, and pace. We've raised $100M from Index Ventures, Insight Partners and Point Nine, alongside many angel investors who are founders and executives of world-class companies.

The Team

Our Platform Engineers are the people behind the curtain making sure everything runs smoothly. They own the infrastructure, deployment systems, and CI/CD pipelines that keep our product engineers moving fast without breaking things. If product engineers are the chefs, the platform team is the kitchen; designing, maintaining, and scaling the tools that make everything possible.

The current team consists of two highly capable engineers. As we grow, this role will play a key part in building and maintaining infrastructure to support future scaling, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and developer experience.

Our stack includes Terraform for infrastructure as code, deployment systems built around modern CI/CD practices, and integrations with Google Cloud Platform.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure that enables fast, reliable, and secure product delivery.

  • Improving and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and increase reliability.

  • Contributing to infrastructure reliability and ensuring systems are designed for resilience and growth.

  • Collaborating with product engineers to improve developer experience and support smooth delivery processes.

  • Identifying and implementing improvements to deployment systems, observability, and automation.

What experience you need to be successful:
  • Deep technical expertise in infrastructure and tooling, including Terraform, CI/CD systems, and deployment pipelines.

  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining infrastructure that supports high-performing engineering teams at scale.

  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineers across teams to improve infrastructure and developer workflows.

What we offer:

We’re building a place where great people can do their best work—and that means looking after you and your family with benefits that support health and personal growth.

  • Market leading private medical insurance

  • Generous parental leave

  • First Friday of the month off

  • Generous annual leave/PTO allowance

  • Competitive salary and equity

  • Remote working and personal development budget

  • Enhanced pension/401k
