WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are looking for a highly technical and hands-on Platform & Automation Engineer to join our Applications & Integrations Team. This role is critical in building and owning the automation, integrations, and connections that power our GTM and CX ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing scalable integrations, owning our Tray.ai iPaaS platform, and ce to deliver high-quality cross-platform automation. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of systems engineering, data flows, integrations, and business process automation.
Responsibilities:
Integration & Automation Engineering
- Design, build, and maintain integrations and workflows across - Tray.io, GTM & CX applications, and other internal tools
- Develop scalable, reliable automations to support end-to-end business processes and eliminate operational inefficiencies
- Implement integration best practices, including versioning, logging, fault handling, and test automation
iPaaS Ownership (Tray.ai)
- Serve as the primary administrator and developer for the Tray.io platform
- Work with the Applications &Integrations team to establish guardrails for monitoring, governance, and performance management
Platform Engineering Support
- Partner with the Salesforce team to support complex system enhancements, data transformations and cross-platform workflows
- Contribute technical expertise to large-scale systems initiatives, including migrations, data reshaping, and architectural improvements
Data Flow & Governance
- Ensure integrations and automations adhere to data model standards, enterprise architecture, ITGC, SOX, and compliance requirements
- Work with the Applications & Integrations Lead to maintain consistent data flow patterns and enforce best practices around data integrity
Operational Support (L2/L3)
- Act as a high-level escalation point for integration and automation incidents
- Proactively monitor system health, identify the root cause of issues and implement permanent solutions for scale
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support high-priority releases and platform changes
WHO YOU ARE
- 3+ years building and supporting integrations using an iPaaS platform (Tray.io, Workato, Mulesoft, Zapier, Boomi, etc.)
- Strong experience designing API-based integrations, including authentication models, rate limits, and error handling
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or a comparable language used for transformation logic
- Experience working with Salesforce or another enterprise CRM, ideally supporting automations or data flows
- Solid understanding of key architectural components, including data modeling, JSON, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting production automations and integrations
- Hands-on experience with Tray.io in a production environment preferred
- Experience supporting GTM/CX system stacks (Salesforce, Snowflake, marketing automation, customer success platforms) preferred
- Familiarity with SOX, audit, and change management controls preferred
