Job Description
Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a major Construction & Maintenance company in the Hull area who operate as one of the leading building, repairs, and maintenance contractors. They are presently employing nearly 500 people and have a turnover of £50 million and they have some ambitious plans in place to grow this again over the coming years. My client take pride and invest in their employees whilst also meeting the needs of their customers and they are looking for people who can help them continue with this and b a part of a successful business creating a long career for themselves.
Purpose of the Role
- To deliver Plastering or Tiling for responsive or routine maintenance repairs
- To deliver plastering and tiling work on construction contracts
- To discuss issues directly on site with customers to determine exact requirements
- Carry out work to specifications, drawing and work sheets
- To participate as part of the companies out of hours call out team
- To act as a mentor within the workplace for apprentices
- Accurately complete all relevant internal and external paperwork
- To drive company vehicles responsibly
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 Plastering or Tiling (Must be able to prove)
- Served a minimum of 2 years in the apprenticeship program
- Own Tools
- Full UK Driving Licence
- CSCS Card (Desirable)
