The Role:

As the Planning Operations Manager for EMEA, you will oversee the Planning Operations team, managing and coordinating all DTC planning execution activities.

Your role is crucial in ensuring optimum service and on-shelf availability (OSA) for Deckers' retail and e-commerce channels. You will drive operational efficiencies across the planning department and lead digitization initiatives to support the planning pillar within Deckers’ operations.

Working closely with stakeholders throughout Operations and Commercial teams, you will drive the in-season execution of demand planning activities for the DTC channel. Additionally, you will improve departmental information management and data insights by establishing standardized reporting and creating proof of concepts to leverage data analytic initiatives and automation.

Your participation in S&OE and S&OP processes, as well as contributions to special projects and other supply chain and business strategy initiatives, will be key to your success.

Your Impact:

  • Manage and Coordinate: Oversee all DTC planning execution activities to ensure optimum service and on-shelf availability (OSA) for retail and e-commerce channels.
  • Drive Efficiencies: Implement operational efficiencies across the planning department.
  • Lead Digitization Initiatives: Identify, propose, and deliver digitization initiatives to support the planning pillar within Deckers operations.
  • Execute Demand Planning: Drive the in-season execution of demand planning activities for the DTC channel.
  • Improve Information Management: Establish standardized reporting and create proof of concepts to leverage data analytic initiatives and automation.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with stakeholders throughout Operations and Commercial teams.
  • Participate in Processes: Engage in S&OE and S&OP processes.
  • Contribute to Projects: Participate in special projects and other supply chain and business strategy initiatives.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in managing and coordinating planning operations.
  • Skilled in driving operational efficiencies and leading digitization initiatives.
  • Proficient in demand planning and execution for DTC channels.
  • Strong in information management and data analytics.
  • Collaborative and able to work closely with various stakeholders.
  • Experienced in participating in S&OE and S&OP processes.
  • Capable of contributing to special projects and business strategy initiatives.

  • Experience working in a Operations, Customer Service, or Supply Chain Planning position in a Global business
  • Channel management and project management
  • Ability to turn numbers and data into reliable insight
  • Knowledge of inventory metrics and data visualisation techniques
  • Excellent database and Excel skills
  • Inventory Management and Forecasting skills
  • Data literacy and quantitative analysis; understanding of statistical modelling
  • Advanced Data Analytics and ML methods to support demand planning processes is a plus
