We’re hiring for a Planning Manager to join the team in London working on the Heineken account.

Purpose of the Role

As a Planning Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of the strategic media plan and client servicing on a selection of exciting brands within the portfolio of Heineken.  You’ll have a burning passion for partnering with clients, external agencies, as well as internal teams within dentsu to foster great relationships and deliver innovative and impactful data-driven media plans that develop Heineken UK’s brand fame. You will immerse yourself with the brand to understand the client business challenges and objectives acting as a business advisor to your clients – you will truly be an extension of their marketing team!

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver innovative client plans that excite clients, create value, and deliver ambitious incremental income, working collaboratively with all internal teams at dentsu to deliver high quality measurable and effective work.

  • Build strong relationships with your counterparts within Heineken UK and the creative agency to deliver innovative media plans whilst demonstrating outstanding client service.

  • Immerse yourself in the clients’ business to intimately understand their challenges, objectives, external economic environment, competitors, and relevant partner agencies.

  • Support the Client Director to challenge and probe client briefs. Ensure you have complete clarity and agreement on client objectives.

  • Day-to-day management of campaigns and clients will require you to be highly organised. 

  • Confident user of all dentsu and non-dentsu tools to deliver ad hoc insights and planning recommendations as and when requested.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Media planning experience from within an agency environment.

  • Proven data-led media planning with a passion for delivering exceptional and innovative media plans.

  • Confident communicator and presenter, able to build strong, trusted relationships with clients.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and deliver in a high-pressure environment. 

  • A curious and entrepreneurial mind with a focus on innovation.

  • The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office every Wednesday and Thursday.
