We have an incredible opportunity to join our Operations team as an Operational Change Manager, based in our London office on a permeant basis (hybrid working).

The Role

The Operational Change Manager will have responsibility to work in partnership with all departments of the Pensions Investment Management (PIM) business unit, looking across their products and propositions with an eye on how change and technology can support them. Both from a business as usual perspective, and a strategic proposition

This role will help oversee the successful delivery of IT & Change services into the Railpen Pensions Investment management business. They will also work closely with our core portfolio management system, Charles River, providing input into strategic capabilities of the platform, BAU issues, and planned enhancements and upgrades.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

The Person

The successful candidate will be an experienced operations or change professional and subject matter expert within the Pension/Asset Management industry, specifically proposition, product and investment solutions for UK pension schemes. You will also have a sound understanding of DB and DC occupational pension schemes coupled with UK, EMEA and global pension structures. We are looking for someone who has a successful track record of delivering projects and enhancements using their existing knowledge of a broad range of underlying asset classes including equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity and cash.

To be successful in this role you will be adaptable and have the ability to make sound decisions in ambiguous situations, whilst planning for both the short and long term. You will be collaborative in your approach when actively seeking the views of the organisation to allow you to unite diverse individuals and opinions and reach mutually agreed positions. Being an effective and influential communicator is key to this role to allow you to drive innovative solutions and influence the business.
