Company Description

About Station10 by SQLI:
Station10 was the codename for Bletchley Park, the home of the WW2 code breakers.  We might not have a top-secret base (…we’re based in Shoreditch!), but like them, we decode vast amounts of data to crack seemingly impossible problems.

We turn complex data into clear, everyday language that inspires action, helping leading brands drive meaningful change and accelerate strategic growth. By defining, improving, and transforming digital and customer experiences, we enable our clients to connect more effectively with their audiences and achieve lasting impact.

Job Description

We are looking for a Personalisation Engineer who will be focusing on creating onsite personalisation experiences, and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) tests. Working across a diverse portfolio of clients, you will take ownership of building and deploying experiments from brief through to launch, partnering closely with our optimisation and strategy team.

The role is primarily a build-focused position. You will be responsible for translating test hypotheses and design concepts into clean, reliable and performant code, ensuring every experiment is delivered on time, to a high standard and with no adverse impact on site performance.

We drive impact and change by fully understanding and translating data through our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and deploy personalised experience and A/B tests using a variety of testing tools (for example Adobe Target, WebTrends Optimize, Adobe Journey Optimiser) across our client sites.
  • Apply expert knowledge of the DOM and browser rendering to manipulate page elements reliably across devices and browsers for experimentation purposes.
  • Work closely with our optimisation and UX teams to translate wireframes and hypotheses into accurate, pixel-perfect test variants.
  • Contribute to quality control processes, such as QA testing and code reviews to ensure all work delivered to our clients is bug free.
  • Stay current with AI tooling and integrate it into your development workflow to improve speed and quality of output.
  • Integrate with third-party and internal APIs to build dynamic, data-driven web experiences.
  • Support our optimisation team with designing and developing custom AB tests across our varied clients.
  • Learn multiple languages and latest trends to a professional level and transferring that knowledge across the team.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to high quality standards and contribute to the smooth and successful delivery of each project.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholder alongside the client team.

Qualifications

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years of experience in a front-end development role.
  • Strong competence with web technologies (vanilla HTML, CSS and JS a minimum). React knowledge a bonus.
  • Experience with A/B testing and working in CRO platforms is a plus.
  • Able to write clean, well-structured production ready code.
  • Knowledge of Git version control.
  • Evidence of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritising needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills as well as an attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - exceptional relationship building skills both with direct team members and stakeholders.

Additional Information

  • Competitive salary
  • 25 days paid holiday plus UK bank holidays
  • Medical and Dental Health insurance
  • Opportunity to gain globally recognised certificates
  • The chance to be part of an amazing global team
  • A fun and collaborative working environment
