We are looking for a Team PA/Assistant to provide general office administrative and PA support to our front office within Santander Corporate and Investment Banking (SCIB) to ensure the smooth running of their division.

This is an initial fixed term contract for 3 months with the possibility of extension. You’ll provide professional, well organised administrative support, and will act as the first point of contact for senior managers, creating a positive impression for both internal and external contacts. You will be highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads and be confident liaising with colleagues at all levels.

The difference you’ll make:

  • Managing diaries; prioritising appointments, arranging and coordinating meetings, as well as supporting with event planning.
  • Ensuring papers, documents and information are gathered and produced in advance of meetings, liaising with other teams/ offices where needed.
  • Managing new employees and leavers within the department, correspondence, enquiries and requests for information, prioritising, and actioning as appropriate
  • Administrative tasks; organising global travel arrangements, expense management, updating HR systems, assisting with ad hoc errands.
  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues and team members, assisting with projects and tasks, and providing PA cover when required whilst building your PA network across the wider business.

What you’ll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

  • Experience working as a secretary or personal assistant in a large organisation, supporting senior managers / directors
  • Effective interpersonal skills and excellent communication - confident, organised, and clear.

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Relevant previous experience within administrative role supporting senior management or in financial services
  • Extensive Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
  • Bilingual skills e.g. Spanish would be advantageous

What else you need to know:

This role is based at our offices in Triton Square, London located within easy walking distance from Warren Street and Euston.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 3 days a week (pro-rata for part-time roles).
