Performance Senior Manager, Competitiveness

Expedia Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Performance Senior Manager - Competitiveness. This role requires strong business acumen, deep knowledge of hotel & VR supply, and the ability to drive key performance indicators (KPIs) while aligning and leading cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic program that optimizes Expedia Group's hotel & VR competitiveness.

What you'll do:

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and growth within the Hotel competitiveness space
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish program objectives, deliverables, and timelines
  • Define and track KPIs to measure program success and impact on business performance
  • Regularly analyze KPI data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions as needed
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure KPIs are met and exceeded
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, finance, and marketing, to align program goals and objectives
  • Provide guidance, support, and leadership to program teams to ensure successful execution
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the program teams & lead team member(s) to deliver & evolve
  • Monitor program performance, conduct regular evaluations, and provide comprehensive reports to management
  • Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership to inform decision-making
  • Identify areas for program expansion, enhancement, or modification based on business needs and market trends

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or equivalent related professional experience
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience in program management, preferably in the hotel industry or hospitality sector
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand and analyze complex business operations
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to align and motivate cross-functional teams
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel supply, inventory and rate management
  • Demonstrated ability to drive KPIs, achieve targets, and deliver results
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Passion for continuous improvement and driving innovation
