Please note this position is based in London and this will be the contractual location of the successful candidate, other locations cannot be considered.

Performance Oversight Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

This is a great job for someone who has performance Measurement experience related to Asset Management across both Public and Private asset classes.

A bit about the job:

The purpose of the Performance Oversight analyst is to provide Derivative set up support to the Aladdin user community. The role reduces the risk of incorrect set up of derivative assets that may lead to valuation and/or cash flow errors which in turn may result in incorrect investment decisions. The role is critical in supporting the OTC trade booking for complex assets or trades by providing Aladdin expertise before, during or after the trade execution. The role extends to supporting the onboarding of new OTC instruments on Aladdin by engaging with internal Aladdin SME or BlackRock Solutions directly along with providing support to the wider Technical Oversight team. You will provide subject matter expertise to Aladdin User community (with reference to front office, trading and investment risk) to ensure complex derivative instruments are set up correctly in Aladdin. Within the role you will also gain a broad understanding of the key data elements necessary to support all complex derivative instruments across all functional disciplines.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Previous exposure to Bloomberg, Reuters is essential.

• Good understanding of the investment management business, fund structures and processes

• Ideally educated to A level and / or professional qualification and IAQ and/or IMC would be advantageous.

• A working knowledge of Investment Performance calculations and techniques

• Aladdin Accounting experience
