About Us

At Encord, we're building the AI infrastructure of the future. The biggest challenge AI companies face today is actually not half as glamorous as the outside world may think: it's all about data quality. In fact, the success of any AI application today relies on the quality of a model's training data — and for 95% of teams, this essential step is both the most costly and the most time-consuming, in getting their product to market.

As ex-computer scientists, physicists, and quants, we felt first-hand how the lack of tools to prepare quality training data was impeding the progress of building AI. AI today is what the early days of computing or the internet were like, where the potential of the technology is clear, but the tools and processes surrounding it are still primitive, preventing the next generation of applications. This is why we started Encord.

We are a talented and ambitious team of 60, working at the cutting edge of multimodal and visual AI, backed by top investors, including CRV and Y Combinator, leading industry executives like Luc Vincent, former VP of AI at Meta, and other top Bay Area leaders in AI. We are one the fastest growing companies in our space, and consistently rated as the best product in the market by our customers. We have big plans ahead and are looking for our first Performance Marketing Manager to join us in building our Growth team.

The Role

In this role, you will own the performance of all paid activities, ensuring that all core campaigns reach relevant audiences and are well-engaged. You will be responsible for deploying expedition campaigns and running conversion-focused experiments to capture existing market demand. Your responsibilities will include:

- Crafting and executing high-performing paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, social media advertising (e.g., X ads, LinkedIn ads), and other relevant channels depending on Encord's specific needs.

- Experiment and validate the potential of new performance channels. Conduct in-depth audience research and develop targeted strategies to reach the right users at the right time.

- Manage campaign budgets effectively, optimizing spend allocation for maximum impact.

- Analyze campaign performance data using marketing analytics tools, identifying areas for improvement and implementing A/B testing strategies.

- Generate clear and insightful reports to communicate campaign performance and ROI to stakeholders.

About You

- You have 3+ years leading and executing performance marketing initiatives.

- You are laser-focused on contributing to pipeline and revenue metrics and engaging relevant audiences.

- You have strong organizational and communication skills.

- You have an interest in technology and AI.

- You are analytical and data-driven.

If you don’t meet all of the requirements listed here, we still encourage you to apply. No job description is perfect, and we might find an even more suitable opportunity that matches your skills and experience.

What we offer

- Competitive salary and equity in a hyper-growth business.

- Strong in-person culture: most of our team is in the office 3+ days a week.

- Room to grow into anything you desire — a year ago we were 25 people, now we're 60. We will be growing incredibly fast over the next 24 months and you'll have all the growth opportunities you can handle.

- 25 days annual leave a year + public holidays.
