The role

This is a high-impact role where you’ll directly influence paid search growth at iwoca.

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in the evolution of search (AI Overviews, zero-click search, conversational interfaces) and the ability to adapt paid search strategy in response to changing SERP behaviour driven by AI.

You will have some experience within Google Ads to support the overall management, optimisation and scaling of our Paid Search channel. You’ll help with both the day-to-day running of our Google campaigns, lead our growth strategy on Bing and help drive forward our expansion into new search opportunities with the likes of ChatGPT Ads, and additional Google properties such as Display and Video.

We envision the role breaking down into the following 3x areas;

Campaign setup, management & hygiene

  • Build a plan for driving sustainable growth through Bing Paid Search and support with proposals for all new channel tests; ChatGPT Ads, Youtube, Google Demand Generation etc

  • Launch, optimise and scale campaigns across Google Search, Performance Max, Youtube and Demand Gen.

  • Ensure excellent account hygiene e.g. excluding irrelevant search terms & placements, addressing low ad relevance/quality score keywords, spotting opportunities for further account consolidation where keywords have low volume, improving ad extensions.

Testing insights

  • Support the creation, monitoring and analysis of landing page experiments,. using Webflow to assist with on-site page changes

  • Delve deeper into data to deliver actionable insights and assist in formulating ideas for testing & optimisation based on clear hypotheses e.g. landing page engagement metrics, keyword themes with lower conversion rate, under performing creative assets.

  • Support the channel lead in developing compelling text, image and video ads that reflects our brand tone and support channel objectives. Regularly share performance feedback.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor performance on a granular level across keywords, landing pages, search terms, creative assets etc.

  • Report on channel performance to stakeholders on a regular basis using both in-platform and internal data.

  • Set up dashboards for efficient test monitoring.

  • Collaborate with Acquitech to ensure data accuracy in Looker .

  • A data driven mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable recommendations

  • Strong copywriting skills and an excellent eye for detail

  • A creative thinker with the ability to go beyond administrative repetitive tasks e.g. identify opportunities independently & be bold in raising them, be courageous to challenge channel lead if they believe a task could be approached differently etc.

  • Strong communication skills, comfortable collaborating with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and seniority levels

  • Well organised, able to effectively manage their time in accordance with priorities.

  • Strong commercial acumen.

  • Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to improve campaign performance, workflow efficiency, or insight generation

  • Evidence of using AI to automate or scale paid search tasks (e.g. scripting, feed optimisation, copy generation, or reporting)

AI and Automation:

  • Experience using LLMs (e.g. ChatGPT) for campaign ideation, keyword research, or ad copy generation

  • Ability to design effective prompts and iterate based on output quality

  • Experience integrating AI into workflows (e.g. Google Ads scripts, automated reporting, data enrichment)
